CONDTROL Vector 80 Laser distance meters

The CONDTROL Vector 80 is a laser distance meter with Bluetooth for indoor and outdoor measurement. It measures from 0.05 to 80 m with a stated typical accuracy of ±1.5 mm and transfers readings to the CONDTROL Smart Measure app. The housing is protected against dust and splash water to IP54.

What measuring tasks is the Vector 80 suitable for?

For tradespeople who document measurements digitally: rooms, façades, outdoor areas. Four reference points are available: front edge, rear edge, 1/4″ tripod thread and fold-out end piece for measuring from corners and niches. The tilt sensor calculates horizontal distances and heights via the angle, for example a building height from the street. Up to 30 readings are kept in memory.

Point-to-point measurement

With the integrated 3D acceleration sensor, the Vector 80 measures the distance between two points A and B from two individual measurements, without having to sight the distance itself. Both points must be visible from your position; the tool does not measure through walls or obstacles.

Painter function

For painting, wallpapering or filling, the Vector 80 calculates the total wall area of a room: measure the room height, then the lengths of all walls one after the other, and the tool adds the areas up to the total. This gives you the material requirement without a calculator.

Understanding range and accuracy

Direct sunlight, poorly reflecting targets and shiny or transparent surfaces can affect the measurement. The nominal range is not a promise for every target; in daylight a target plate helps. Without a digital viewfinder, the laser dot is harder to find outdoors over long distances than with camera models. IP54 describes protection against dust and splash water; the tool is not waterproof.

Integrated 3.7 V / 850 mAh Li-ion battery, charging via USB; according to the manual, a full charge takes about 3 hours.
