The CONDTROL XP3 Green is a laser distance meter with a green laser for indoor and outdoor measurement. It measures from 0.05 to 120 m with a stated typical accuracy of ±1.5 mm, is IP54-protected and transfers readings via Bluetooth to the CONDTROL Smart Measure app.
What measuring tasks is the XP3 Green suitable for?
The green laser dot (520 nm) is much easier for the human eye to see in bright ambient light than a red one. This helps with aiming on light-coloured walls, in bright rooms and over longer distances. In direct sunlight and at long distances, a target plate still makes sense.
Point-to-point measurement
The integrated 3D sensor calculates the distance between two points from two individual measurements, without you having to sight the distance itself. Both points must be visible from your position; the tool does not measure through walls or trees.
Tilt sensor
Using the tilt angle, the XP3 Green determines horizontal and vertical distances indirectly, for example the height of a façade or the horizontal distance over uneven terrain. According to the manual, the tilt sensor works within a range of 90° with a tolerance of ±0.3° to the housing.

Understanding range and accuracy
Even a green laser is harder to detect on shiny, transparent or poorly reflecting surfaces. The nominal range of 120 m is not a promise for every target; in daylight a target plate helps. The tool does not have a digital viewfinder. IP54 describes protection against dust and splash water; the tool is not waterproof.
