The digital point finder with 8× magnification and crosshair shows the target point on the display.
Do I need a tripod?
Recommended for long distances. The device has a 1/4" thread; suitable options include the H140 and H160 crank tripods.

The CONDTROL Vector 200 is a laser distance meter for long measuring distances and documented site measurement. The measuring range is 0.05 to 200 m, the stated typical accuracy ±1.0 mm under the conditions in the manual. A digital viewfinder with 8x zoom, point-to-point, AreaCam and Bluetooth support your work.
What measuring tasks is the Vector 200 suitable for?
The digital viewfinder supports aiming. Point-to-point, AreaCam, Bluetooth and memory for up to 100 values help with more extensive measurements. Four measuring references are available: front, rear, tripod and fold-out end piece.
The camera makes aiming easier when the laser dot is hard to see. It does not replace a suitable target surface and does not guarantee maximum range in all lighting conditions.

Point-to-point: The tool calculates the distance between two sighted points. Both points must be reachable; the function does not measure through obstructing walls or obstacles. AreaCam: helps determine dimensions and areas in the camera image as described in the manual.
Understanding range and accuracy
Direct sunlight, poorly reflecting targets and shiny or transparent surfaces can affect the measurement. The nominal range is not a promise for every target. Set the tool up stably and, in difficult conditions, consider a suitable target plate. IP54 describes protection against dust and splash water; the tool is not waterproof.
Check the measuring reference before measuring
Check the selected measuring reference point before each series of measurements. For areas, measure length and width; indirect calculations require the set-up described in the manual. Repeat critical measurements before cutting or ordering material.
