How does the Fliesen 4D differ from a 3D laser?
The Fliesen 4D has two horizontal laser planes instead of one. The lower one is just 18 mm above the floor and serves as a reference for the first row of tiles or the floor covering; the upper one is aligned close to the ceiling. This lets you work at the bottom and top at the same time without moving the device. Vertical planes for corners and axes are added.

The CONDTROL Fliesen 4D is a green cross-line laser for tilers: two horizontal 360° planes, one 18 mm above the floor and one below the ceiling, plus two vertical planes. Accuracy ±0.3 mm/m, self-levelling up to ±3°, metal structure and IP54. Supplied in a hard case with brackets, target plate and two rechargeable batteries.
What tasks is the Fliesen 4D suitable for?
For floor and wall tiles in one go. The lower plane sets the first row of tiles directly at the floor, the upper one the top edge below the ceiling. Because all planes are projected all the way round, the tool doesn't need to be turned or moved when laying out a room. This saves time and material.

Understanding range and accuracy
The visibility of the line depends on the ambient light and the surface. Outdoors and over long distances, work in pulse mode with a receiver. The stated accuracy applies within the self-levelling range of ±3°. IP54 protects against dust and splash water.
Power supply and scope of delivery
Two 3.7 V / 4000 mAh Li-ion batteries. According to the manual, runtime is 20 hours with one plane switched on and 5 hours with all planes. While one is charging, you keep working with the second. With a battery adapter, the laser also runs on 18 V tool batteries from Bosch, Makita, DeWalt or Metabo.
