The CONDTROL Vector 1500 is an optical laser rangefinder with 6x magnification for distant targets outdoors. You aim at the target through the eyepiece and read the distance inside the device. This distinguishes it from a construction distance meter for room dimensions.
Measuring range and real conditions
The stated measuring range is 5–1500 m and the measuring accuracy ±1 m. The maximum range is not a promise for every target: weather, visibility, target size, surface and reflection affect the result. Small targets cannot be compared with large, highly reflective surfaces.
Tilt and vertical distance
The Vector 1500 has a tilt sensor and a mode for calculating the vertical distance. This makes it easier to consider line of sight and height difference separately. A special golf slope correction or tournament approval is not promised here.
Single measurement, scan and fog mode
The manual describes single measurements, continuous measurements and a fog mode. If the distance is too short or the signal insufficient, “- - - -” may appear instead of a value. Fog mode does not remove these limits. Focus the eyepiece, hold the device steady and repeat implausible measurements.
What's included?
According to the manual, the device comes with a protective pouch, a wrist strap, two AAA batteries and the user manual. For measurements of walls, areas and room volumes, compare the laser distance meters for construction and interiors.
Which model fits?
Compare the target distance you need and the measuring modes, not just the highest number of metres. View the Vector 600 or compare both rangefinders for hunting and golf.
