The CONDTROL Hydro Tec is a digital moisture meter for wood and building materials such as screed, concrete and gypsum. It measures non-destructively up to 20 mm deep: place the tool on the surface and read the value, without drilling and without pins.
For quick checks on the building site and in the workshop: is the board dry enough to work with, and where is the moisture in the screed or the wall? A material library with eight wood groups and six building material groups covers the usual materials.
The tool determines moisture via the dielectric constant of the material. Unlike meters with pins or resistance measurement, this method hardly reacts to static charge and temperature fluctuations. A board can be scanned along its entire length in seconds, and the display responds in about one second.
The value displayed applies to the selected material group; a wrong selection distorts the result. According to the manufacturer, accuracy is between ±0.9 and ±1.5% for building materials and between ±1.0 and ±2.5% for wood. Where a CM measurement is required to confirm screed readiness for floor covering, the tool does not replace it, but it quickly shows where further measurements should be taken.

Da er ohne Messnadeln auskommt, kann man die Holzfeuchte messen, ohne das Material ständig zu durchstechen oder zu beschädigen. Kompakt gebaut, und das Etui im Lieferumfang ist ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt.
Ideal für den Eigengebrauch, vor allem weil man das Holz nicht anbohren muss. Nutze ihn in meiner Werkstatt und er hat mir schon mehrfach geholfen
