The CONDTROL Hydro is a non-destructive moisture meter for wood, concrete and screed. Two built-in sensors measure at different depths, without pins and without drill holes. With an optional external sensor, it also records indoor climate values.
What tasks is the Hydro suitable for?
For construction, woodworking, window and door making, furniture and floor covering production, and quality and storage checks. Preset measuring modes for 8 wood groups and 4 building material groups (gypsum, screed, lightweight and heavyweight concrete) are based on laboratory analyses.
Two sensors for different material thicknesses
- Sensor 1: flat, smooth surfaces up to 30 mm deep, for large areas
- Sensor 2: thin materials up to 15 mm deep, such as parquet, wall panelling and furniture boards
Indoor climate with the external sensor
With the separately available humidity sensor the Hydro measures relative humidity, air temperature, dew point and equilibrium moisture content. This shows you whether wood and screed in the room are continuing to dry or absorbing moisture.

Interpreting the result correctly
Before measuring, select the measuring depth; for automatic calibration, keep the sensor at least 20 cm away from other objects. The value applies to the selected material group. Where a CM measurement is required to confirm screed readiness for floor covering, the tool does not replace it, but it quickly shows where further measurements should be taken.
