The CONDTROL Hydro Pro is a moisture meter for wood and building materials with three built-in sensors and a colour display. It measures non-destructively using the high-frequency method in seconds; an optional external sensor adds humidity, temperature and dew point.
What tasks is the Hydro Pro suitable for?
For professionals in woodworking and construction: parquet and furniture makers, laminate and profiled timber production, window and door making, panels, screed and concrete checks. Calibration profiles for eight wood groups and four building material groups are based on laboratory analyses.
Three sensors for every shape
- Lower sensor 30 mm: flat surfaces and thicker materials
- Lower sensor 15 mm: thinner wood products such as parquet and veneer
- Front sensor: curved surfaces such as railings and bent furniture parts
High frequency instead of pins
The tool measures the dielectric properties of the material. The surface remains undamaged, and temperature influences and static charge have hardly any effect.
Indoor climate with the external sensor
With the separately available humidity sensor you can monitor relative humidity, air temperature, dew point and equilibrium moisture content, for example in a timber store or during construction drying.

Interpreting the result correctly
The value applies to the selected material group and the selected sensor. Where a CM measurement is required to confirm screed readiness for floor covering, the tool does not replace it, but it quickly shows where further measurements should be taken.
