The CONDTROL Paint Pro non-destructively measures the thickness of paint, lacquer and coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It combines magnetic induction (steel) and eddy current (e.g. aluminium). Measuring range 0 to 1500 µm, accuracy ±(3% + 2 µm).
What tasks is the Paint Pro suitable for?
On site and in the lab: testing paint, powder, anodised and galvanised coatings in mechanical engineering and the automotive industry. Incoming goods inspection, production monitoring and final inspection of finished parts.
Data transfer
Stored readings can be transferred to a PC via USB cable for test reports and evaluation.
Easy calibration
A calibration set with metal plate and reference foils for calibration and check measurements is included. This keeps the tool reliable even when switching between materials.

Interpreting the result correctly
What is measured is the non-metallic layer on a metallic substrate. The method does not work on plastic, wood or glass. Calibrate on the respective base material before measuring.
