Rangefinders for hunting and golf: Vector 600 or 1500?
When measuring outdoors, you aim at the distant target through the eyepiece. Both CONDTROL models have a fixed 6x magnification and measure the distance along the line of sight. Choose by target size, required range and measuring mode.

Rangefinders for golf: capturing small targets correctly
A flag in front of trees places different demands than a large surface. For the Vector 600, the manual describes a pin seeker mode for capturing a target in front of other objects. Check the result by aiming again. A special golf slope function or tournament approval is not promised for these products.
Rangefinders for hunting and outdoors
Over long distances, visibility, weather, target size and reflection are decisive. The maximum distance figure does not mean that every small target can be measured at that distance. Both models offer single measurement, continuous measurement and a fog mode. This mode is no substitute for a clear view and does not guarantee measurement in all weather conditions.
Understanding accuracy and weather protection
The stated distance accuracy is ±1 m. The manufacturer's catalogue states IP54: protection against dust and splash water, no promise for submersion. For millimetre-accurate room dimensions and area calculation, choose a laser distance meter for construction.
