CONDTROL IR-Cam 3 Thermal imaging camera

The CONDTROL IR-Cam 3 is a thermal imaging camera with 256 × 192 pixels and a thermal sensitivity of 0.04 °C for building thermography, electrics, heating and air conditioning. It measures surface temperatures from −20 to +550 °C, is IP65-protected and stores up to 160,000 thermal images on the included 16 GB card.

With 256 × 192 pixels, the image is detailed enough for façades and distribution boards; the sensitivity of 0.04 °C reveals even small temperature differences.

Two cameras, seven display modes

Infrared and digital camera (2 megapixels) work together; seven blending variants and colour modes such as “white hot”, “rainbow” or “black-red” adapt the image to the task. Two LEDs illuminate dark areas for the visible image.

Temperature alarm

An adjustable limit alarm reports overheating immediately, even in areas that are hard to see, such as fuse boxes and air conditioners.

Robustly built

The housing is dust- and water-protected to IP65 and, according to the manufacturer, impact-resistant up to a 2 m drop.

Interpreting the result correctly

What is measured is the surface temperature. Shiny metals and glass reflect thermal radiation from the surroundings; set the emissivity accordingly. Building thermography is most meaningful when there is a clear temperature difference between inside and outside.
