The CONDTROL Beton is a mechanical concrete test hammer (rebound hammer, sclerometer) for the non-destructive determination of concrete compressive strength using the rebound principle according to DIN EN 12504-2. Measuring range 10 to 60 MPa, no electronics, no batteries.
What tasks is the Beton suitable for?
- Estimating the compressive strength of screed, concrete floors, precast elements and reinforced concrete
- Checking the uniformity of concrete components and finding weak areas
- Assessing mortar, brick or natural stone if your own laboratory calibration curves are available
Usable on building sites, in laboratories and when inspecting existing buildings. No special training is required.
Measurements at any angle
Conversion tables on the housing convert the rebound value according to the impact direction. So you can measure horizontally, upwards or downwards, on walls, ceilings and floors.
Built for continuous use
Indenter and plunger are hardened (59–63 HRC) and therefore wear-resistant. Without electronics, the hammer works reliably even in harsh building site conditions.
Functions at a glance
- Rebound principle, mechanical, DIN EN 12504-2
- Measuring range 10–60 MPa
- Conversion tables for impact direction on the housing
- Hardened indenter and plunger 59–63 HRC
- Complete kit with grinding stone and spare spring
Interpreting the result correctly
The rebound hammer measures surface hardness and derives strength from it; the deviation can be up to 20%. For reliable results, average several impacts per test spot and smooth the surface beforehand with the grinding stone. The method does not replace proof by core.
Scope of delivery
Beton concrete test hammer, grinding stone for surface preparation, spare spring, screwdriver for maintenance and adjustment, case, user manual.
Warranty
2 years' warranty; one additional year after registration in accordance with the warranty terms.
