The CONDTROL adapter screw converts the small 1/4″ thread to the large 5/8″ thread. It is fitted onto the 1/4″ connection and provides the construction thread on top.
What you need the adapter screw for
It is the reverse of the 5/8″ to 1/4″ adapter screw. You need it when a tool or accessory with a 5/8″ connection is to be mounted on a tripod or bracket with a 1/4″ thread.
Tools that use 5/8″ include
The CONDTROL tripod head for cross-line and rotary lasers and the Digi Roto HVR rotary laser. The cross-line lasers with a dual connection – XLiner Pento 360G, XLiner Quattro 360G, XLiner Combo 360G, XLiner 3D, Omniliner G3D, TruSlope, Fliesen 4D, Boden 3D, NEO G200 and NEO G220 – can also be mounted via 5/8″.
