CONDTROL Progressor: layout projector & cross-line laser in one
The unique layout projector from CONDTROL projects a grid of 60 equal-sized cells and at the same time serves as a cross-line laser – ideal for planning, installation and interior finishing. It is based on patented hybrid optics (patent no. DE 20 2025 101 284 U1, PDF).

What makes the Progressor 1 unique?
- Patented hybrid optics: layout projector and cross-line laser in one tool – precise grid + familiar cross reference (patent DE 20 2025 101 284 U1).
- 60 identical cells: the grid scales evenly with distance (rule of thumb D:S = 18:1).
- 2-in-1 workflow: lay out, align, check – without changing tools.
- Built for the building site: IP65, rubber bumpers, pendulum lock, 1/4″ thread.

In practice: D:S rule of thumb & applications
Scaling according to D:S = 18:1 (distance → cell size): 0.9 m → 5×5 cm, 1.8 m → 10×10 cm, 3.6 m → 20×20 cm, 5.4 m → 30×30 cm, 7.2 m → 40×40 cm.
- Shelving & shopfitting: drilling/mounting aid, identical axes.
- Drywall & ceiling grids: profiles, light islands, access panels.
- Tiles & wall design: even joint grids, symmetry checks.
- Furniture/interior finishing: fronts, handles, series drilling.

Mounting options & handling
- Hanging on a screw/nail (wall mounting).
- Profile clamp for ceiling profiles.
- Cable tie slot/strap for pipes, railings, cable trays.
- Pendulum lock for transport or inclined projection.

How-to: a perfect grid in 3 steps
- Set up & level: tool on a tripod/telescopic pole, release the pendulum lock, wait for self-levelling.
- Choose the grid size: set the distance so that the desired cell size results according to D:S (e.g. 3.6 m → 20×20 cm).
- Fix & work: secure with the profile clamp/cable tie and mark as required for installation.
FAQ
Is the grid really made up of identical cells?
Yes, the hybrid optics project 60 equal-sized cells; the size scales with distance according to D:S = 18:1.
What is the advantage over a normal cross-line laser?
The Progressor 1 combines a cross reference and a precise layout grid – distances and divisions can be transferred faster and reproducibly.
Is it available in the shop?
Yes, the Progressor is available in the official shop. You will find it in the category Cross-line lasers.
